Grape Varietal Composition: This sparkling wine is made from 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Nero grapes.
Terroir: The grapes are carefully selected from the S.Afra vineyard, where the fruit reaches excellent ripeness, resulting in a naturally balanced sparkling wine. The harvest is manual, and gentle pressing is employed. The first fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in the same tanks for 7 months at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle. After corking, it matures on the lees for at least 36 months. Due to its excellent structure, this wine doesn’t require dosage. The expedition liqueur is made from Chardonnay wine aged in French and American oak barrels. It has an intense straw-yellow color with mineral and brioche aromas. On the palate, it is full-bodied, balanced, and characterized by a long, mineral finish.
