Product description
Rutini Single Vineyard Malbec is a carefully selected Argentine red wine from a single vineyard that faithfully reflects the character of the Mendoza wine region. Thanks to the high-altitude vineyards and sunny, dry climate, the grapes develop concentrated aromas and a well-balanced acidity.
Its deep, intense ruby-red colour in the glass already suggests the wine’s richness. On the nose, ripe black fruits – blackberry, blackcurrant and plum – are joined by subtle spicy notes, vanilla and light toasted tones. Barrel ageing integrates smoothly with the aromas, highlighting the fruit rather than overpowering it.
On the palate it is full-bodied, concentrated yet harmonious. Velvety tannins round out each sip, while the fruity and spicy flavours linger. The finish is long and refined, with gentle cocoa, vanilla and black pepper notes that gradually fade.
Serving and food pairing
Rutini Single Vineyard Malbec pairs well with bold, flavourful dishes. It is an ideal match for various steaks, beef and lamb dishes, as well as slow-roasted, spiced meats. It also complements mature, hard cheeses – such as aged Cheddar, Manchego or Parmesan-style cheeses.
Serve at around 16–18 °C to allow the wine’s structure and complex aromas to fully unfold. After opening, a short period of aeration – decanting or a few minutes in the glass – can further soften the tannins and enhance the bouquet.
