Bianchi Particular Merlot – characterful Argentine red wine
Bianchi Particular Merlot comes from cooler vineyards in the Mendoza region, where the high temperature variation between day and night allows the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. Made from 100% Merlot, this wine combines elegance with intensity, ideal for those who prefer fruity, harmonious red wines.
Aroma and flavour profile
In the glass it reveals a deep ruby red colour with purple hues. On the nose, ripe black cherry, plum and forest fruits appear, complemented by subtle spicy notes of gentle vanilla, clove and a hint of cocoa. On the palate it is medium-bodied, round and silky, with soft tannins and well-integrated acidity.
The flavour is dominated by black cherry and plum, supported by discreet spiciness and light toasted notes. The finish is long and harmonious, with a slightly chocolaty aftertaste that further enhances the wine’s elegant, well-balanced character.
Food pairing
Bianchi Particular Merlot pairs well with a wide range of dishes. It is particularly well suited to:
- grilled and roasted red meats
- more richly seasoned pork or beef dishes
- roasts and stews
- firmer, aged cheeses
Thanks to its rounded acidity and soft tannins, it is an excellent choice for dinner with friends, weekend barbecues, or simply enjoying a relaxed glass of wine in the evening.
Serving suggestion
The wine shows its best at slightly below room temperature, around 16–18 °C. Before serving, it is worth allowing it to breathe briefly so its full aromatic complexity can unfold.
